Andy’s Live Fire Grill and Bar was conceptualized in 2018 by Anthony Bruno, founder of Anthony’s Runway 84 and Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza along with fellow restaurateur Michelangelo Mozzicato. Anthony had a vision to take a former Fort Lauderdale landmark and create a casual local hangout featuring American classics centered around a Santa Maria style live-fire grill. Thus, Andy’s Live Fire Grill and Bar was born. Andy’s features American cuisine with a Florida twist, fresh local fish, seafood, steaks and pork dishes cooked over varying degrees of fire utilizing the grill’s adjustable surfaces. Our featured Tri-Tip for Two is the signature dish of the Santa Maria style grilling and a must have for those who want the full Andy’s Live Fire Grill experience. Grillin’ isn’t all we’re good for, enjoy craft cocktails and listen to live music or indulge in mouthwatering desserts in a casual relaxed atmosphere. We’ll see you soon!

Kyle "Big Dog” Dowgiewicz
A true local, born and raised right here in Fort Lauderdale. Kyle’s passion for cooking began at home with his mother’s homemade family dinners. Cooking professionally for over 10 years, Kyle’s journey has led him to cook all of the things he grew up eating while adding his own personal twist to each dish. Through Andy’s, Kyle is excited to have the opportunity to share his cooking with fellow south Floridians as well as those who visit.

Although Anthony is a Long Island native he has called Fort Lauderdale home for over 37 years. Opening up Andy’s was a passion for Anthony and he named the restaurant after his late father who many called “Andy”. With Anthony’s Runway 84 still going strong and Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in the rearview mirror, Anthony wanted to create a simple American restaurant where the quality and ingredients were at the forefront.

Growing up in Sicily, Michelangelo always had a passion for food so when he came to Fort Lauderdale in 1996 the restaurant industry was a natural fit. Michelangelo began at Anthony’s Runway 84 and was the original Chef at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza which he later helped grow to over 67 locations. Michelangelo has assisted in the creation of Andy’s signature dishes by incorporating fresh local ingredients that showcase our Santa Maria live fire grill.
